In 1999 my father gave me my first vintage engine which was a Ronaldson Tippett N Type 3HP engine manufactured in Ballarat and thus began my infatuation with any old engines. In the year 2000 I joined the Hobart Vintage Machinery Society and since then I have collected over 20 engines, punps, old tools etc from Australs through to Listers with a few Ronaldson Tippetts thrown in for good measure. I find much enjoyment in taking them to the local shows and events as they bring great enjoyment from so many people and now I have my own website to.
